My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.

1. Humility is key to having a heart like Gods heart.

2. True contrition moves the heart of God.

3. When we fail don’t try to cover, or deny, or be defensive, but just a simple sincere repentance. (1 John 1:9)

4. Sin should break our heart not consequences.
