DAY ONE SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 4:23-27 MSG

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust.

1. We must protect or guard our heart.

2. We guard it by being single minded. Duplicity (double mindedness) leads to hypocrisy

3. Retain your integrity (small foxes spoil the vine)

4. Guard your heart by knowing Christ well and not conforming to the world. Transform not conform. (Romans 12:1-2) [/one_third] [clear]
